The SBMU Clinical Tuberculosis & Epidemiology Research Center was established in 2009 under the chairmanship of Professor Ali Akbar Velayati in order to conduct more research about HIV-related tuberculosis, resistant tuberculosis, and extra-resistant tuberculosis.
